Thanks Mr-Smitty! At that setup it's 29~30lbs. I was running a 32/18 and I suck at climbing...but other than me sucking it climbed fine once I stood up and cranked down on the pedals :) I just switched to a 32/20 tonight and will give it a try tomorrow on the same trail I did on Wed where I had to walk quite a few times and catch my breath do to steam coming out of my ears...but again I don't think it's really the weight.
For the trails I've been riding lately with this bike the DH tires are a bit overkill...so I also switched out the tires to a Nevegal/SB8 combo...both in 2.35 and that dropped the weight down to 26.5lbs! Oh and some eggbeaters too ;)
just a quick update...had some play in the right stanchion (no affect on function)...took it to a shop, they contacted Fox and they replace a internal bushing...no charge...even with no receipt. It was within the one year period though. Haven't been back out on it yet but seem to be working fine. Yeah for FOX! About Us
